my memory of her, 2007
Mrs. Minnie Leanna Flowers went home to be with the Lord on July 14, 1988. She 
was Born to Queen Luisa Pool and Charlie Boston in the Mineral Springs area of 
Alexander County, North Carolina on August 15, 1896.
She married Lee Flowers, of Catawba County. And to this union were born Jay 
Luther, Adam, Escar, Bettie, Foxie and 3 other children. 
A lifelong home maker, Mrs. Flowers was a member of Pleasant Home FBH church 
where she attended until ill health forced her to stay home. 
She is preceeded in death by her husband Lee, her children, parents, three 
brothers Harrison Pool, Dewey Pool and Ray Boston; sisters Clara Rissie 
Flowers and May Jolly.
Survivors include one sister Bertha Morrison and husband Jack of Durham North 
Carolina, one half-brother, Arthur Boston of Alexander County; a host of 
neices, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The funeral Service and interment was held at Pleasant Home FBH Church in 
Stony Point, North Carolina.
