Christina (Tina) Payne Chambers of Turnersburg Highway died Saturday, October 
15, 2005 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Chambers was born July 8, 1920 in Alexander Co.,NC and was the daughter 
of the Rev. Robert Clyde Payne and Jenny Lou Steele Payne. Her husband, George 
C. Chambers preceded her in death in March, 2003. She was also preceded in 
death by three brothers; Thurston Payne, John Henry Payne, and Bennie Payne. 
She is survived by two sisters; Rachel P. Deal and Lauren P. Presswood of 
Statesville and one brother Jack S. Payne of Statesville. Graveside funeral 
services will be at Harmony Cemetery, Harmony, NC
