Clara's memory of her
Mrs. Margie Mae Alice Lackey died quietly of Alzheimer's Disease on 
Valentine's Day, 1987 in Catawba County, N.C. She was born on March 24, 1910 
to Clara Rissie Boston And Lonnie John Flowers, in Taylorsville, North 
Carolina. She was educated in Alexander County Schools,and worked for a while 
as a cook in the Alexander County School System before becomming a homemaker. 
Educated in Alexander County Schools, she was married to the late James Edward 
Lackey. Preceeding her in death were her husband, one daughter, Clara 
Mae "Click" Lackey, and her parents.
Survivors are her daughters, Mary Lackey, Cora Lee Brown, and Rhonda Faye 
Daniels all of Taylorsville; sons Billy Ray Lackey of Taylorsville, Paul 
Lackey and wife Atlea, of Claremont, NC and Sgt. Michael Daniels and wife 
Ellen, of Fort Stewart, GA, mother, Clara Rissie Flowers; Sisters, Mable Lowe, 
Thelma Lackey of Taylorsville, and Cora Bell Flowers of Maryville, TN; 
brothers, Dewey Flowers and wife Lillian, sister in law, Mazo Flowers, all of 
Taylorsville; Rayford Flowers and wife Annie Mae of Scotts, NC and Eubert 
Flowers and wife Della of Stony Point, NC.
Funeral Services and interment were at Pleasant Home FBH Church, Stony Point, 
NC.
