Alexander County, NC - Obituary of John William Lackey, 1981

John William Lackey, Negro male, was born September 4, 1918 in Alexander 
County, North Carolina to the late Robert Lackey and the late Zora Hill 
Lackey. He departed this life April 29th, 1981 at the age of 63 years 
and 7 months. He was married to Thelma Flowers Lackey.

He is survived by his wife, one son, William Harlee Lackey, of 
Taylorsville, four daughters, Ms. Shirley Lackey, Mrs. Mary Lois Lackey 
Antone, Mrs. Mabel Willean Lackey McClain, Miss Tracey Lackey, all of 
Taylorsville, N.C., ten grandchildren, one brother, Mr. James H. Lackey 
of Taylorsville, two daughter in laws, Mrs. Bessie Redmon Lackey, and 
Mrs. Linda Hagler Lackey, two sons-in-law, Ronnie Houston McClain, of 
Taylorsville, John Antone of Elkin, N.C., one sister-in-law, Mrs. Lula 
Lackey of Taylorsville. 

Funeral and interment was at Pleasant Home FBH Church in Stony Point, NC
