Ernie Lee Montgomery, 59, of Gina Lane, Taylorsville, died Thursday, March 11, 
2010, at Catawba Valley Medical Center.

He was born October 11, 1950, in Butler County, PA, son of the late Ronald 
Montgomery and Pauline Shoup Montgomery. Ernie graduated from Moniteau High 
School in 1969. He was a truck driver for Star Transport, Inc., of Morton, IL. 
He was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol 
Gaillot.

Ernie is survived by his wife, Yvonne Jean Kuzma Montgomery; two daughters, 
Tammy Montgomery of Clintonville, PA, and Rhonda Montgomery of Taylorsville; 
three sons, Kirby Montgomery of Franklin, PA, Jamie Montgomery of Ocean City, 
Maryland, and Eric Kuzma of Taylorsville; eight sisters, Patricia Knight of 
St. Petersburg, PA, Bonnie Kriss of Kennerdell, PA, Wanda Scott of Dayton, 
Ohio, Judy Wagner of Butler, PA, Gretchen Roberts of Ft. Worth, TX, Brenda 
Rowell of Lancaster, SC, Sharon Kay Duplaga of Bridgeport, Ohio, and Ruby 
Younker of Lionger, PA; two brothers, Ronald Montgomery of Mayport, PA, and 
Richard Montgomery of Clover, SC; and four grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted on Monday March 15, 2010, at 11:00 am, 
at Lakeview Memory Gardens, 1774 Filbert Highway, York, S.C., by Rev. Jeff 
Gilfillian. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 14, 2010, at 
Adams Funeral Home from 4 until 6.
