Taylorsville, Feb.23 1959--- Mr. Robert Lonnie Meadows, 77, of Taylorsville 
Route 4 died Monday at the Alexander County Hospital. Mr. Meadows was born in 
Alexander County October 22,1881, son of the late Gillam and Mary Baker 
Meadows. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He was married to 
Victoria Davis Meadows.
Surviving are five sons, Charles Meadows of Harmony, Lex Meadows of Hiddenite,
Walter, Claude, and Ted Meadows, all of Taylorsville; three gaughters, Mrs. 
Arvil (Sue) Reavis of Yadkinville, Mrs. Guy (Ann) Bowles of Taylorsville and 
Mrs. Cecil (Luna) McLain of Hiddenite; 10 grandchildren and four great 
grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 3  p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Baptist 
Church by the Rev. Otto Johnson, the Rev. Mac McCurdy. Burial followed in the 
church cemetery.
