Taylorsville Times Newspaper
Glenn A. Payne, 75 of rt.4, Taylorsville, NC died Monday at 11:25 am in NC 
Baptist Hospital, Winson Salem, NC. He had been in declining health for six 
months. He was born in Alexander County on April 14, 1905, son of Hubbard 
Payne and Lula Brown Payne. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emma Pennell Payne, 
two sons;Herman Payne of Taylorsville, NC and Escar Payne of Austin, Tx; four 
daughters, Mrs. Estelle Brackett of Salsibury, Mrs Rosa Lou Jenkins of 
Taylorsville, Mrs. Glenna Marlowe of Statesville,NC and Mrs. Arlene Miller of 
Taylorsville, Nc and 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Burial will be 
a Three Forks Church Cemetery in Alexander Co.,North Carolina
