The Taylorsville Times of North Carolina
Laura Little Payne, age 92  of 120 China Grove Rd., China Grove formerly of 
297 D.W. Payne Road., Taylorsville passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2010 at her 
home. She was born  February 24, 1918 in Alexander Co., to the late Charley O. 
Little and  Bessie Warren Little. She was a homemaker and a memberr of Mt.  
Wesley Wesleyan Church. She is also preceded in death by  her husband Durant 
Woodrow Payne, her stepmother Lola Teague Little;brothers George Little and 
Paul Little; son-in-law, Archie McDonald; and grandson Benny McDonald. She is 
survived by one daughter, Vera McDonald of China Grove,NC; two sisters, 
Margaret Stikeleather of Taylorsville and Ruth Lentz of Statesville, NC; two 
grandchildren Barry McDonald and wife Lisa, and Judy McDonald; five great 
grandchildren,five great-great grandchildren. Services and burial will be at 
Mt. Weslyn Westeyan Church Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 2:00 pm.
