Death Claims Mr. Jefferson Thomas

Taylorsville, N.C., June 10—

Mr. Jefferson Thomas passed away Wednesday at his home in Ellendale township,
after a lingering illness.  The funeral and burial services were conducted by
Rev. W. J. Bumgarner, at Three Forks Baptist church, Thursday afternoon, and
interment was in the cemetery there.  Deceased was 71 years of age and is
survived by his widow and ten children, mainly Mrs. Lawrence Watts, of Iredell
county; Mesdames Little Bebber, Chas. Childers, Wade Rogers, Grover Pennell, Cub
Watts, Misses Cloe Thomas and Daisy Thomas, all of this county.
