T. J. WIKE DIES
 MONDAY AFTERNOON

 Mr. Tillet Jasper Wike, of Taylorsville Route Three died Monday afternoon at 
3 o'clock, following an illness of three weeks. He was 77 years of age and a 
retired farmer.
 Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Salem Lutheran 
Church in charge of Rev. E. H. Goltermann. Burial followed in the church 
cemetery.
 Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Laura Jane Phillips Wike; four sons, Roby of 
Taylorsville Route Three; Lawson Wike, of Springfield, Ill.; Carl and Spencer 
Wike, Springfield, Ill.; three daughters, Mrs. Johnnie Harrington, Mrs. John 
Deal, and Mrs. Walter Mitchell of Taylorsville Route Three; one brother, D. R. 
Wike of Hiddenite, 30 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and one great 
great grandchild.
