Know all men by these presents that Richard Edwards, Thornton Jennings and Ezekial Joines are held and firmly bound unto the State of North Carolina in the sum of two thousand dollars. The condition of the above obligation is such that if the bounden Richard Edwards administrate or with the Will execute of all and singular the goods, chattel, rights and credits of JOHN KROWS, deceased.........., etc., ( a standard preprinted form).
