ALLEGHANY COUNTY, NC - WILLS AND ESTATES - Administrator Bond for Estate of Jacob A. Crouse ----¤¤¤¤---- Transcription of administration bond for the estate of Jacob A. Crouse 1859. Transcribed by Carolyn Spence Know all men by these presents that we Daniel Crouse, Alford Moxley and John Crouse are held and firmly bound unto the state of North Carolina in the sum of one thousand dollars for the payment of which we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, and administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents, sealed with our seals and dated this 28th day of Feb. A.D. 1859. The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above bounded Daniel Crouse has this day been appointed administrator of the estate of Jacob A. Crouse, deceased. Now if the said Daniel Crouse shall, will and truly administer all and singular the goods and chattel rights and credits of the said Jacob A. Crouse, deceased, and shall make and retain a true and perfect inventory thereof according to law and shall, will, truly and faithfully discharge all his duties in the said administratorship according to law, then this bond to be void, otherwise to remain in force and virtue.
