Burns ---------------------------------------------------------------------- DIGGS FAMILY CEMETERY Going East out of Wadesboro, turn right (South) onto NC 145. Travel down this pleasant road for about 2 miles or so and turn left onto Pitt Road. After driving down this road for about 8/10 miles you will see this little cemetery on the right hand side of the road. It is right on the edge of the cemetery. (You would have passed the Liles-DeBerry cenced in cemetery and the peach orchards) This is a very neat, extremly old cemetery. Most of the graves are encircled with red building bricks. It appears to have some periodic maintenance. Cemetery transcribed January 1, 2004 by John V. Burns Welington M. Died Jan. 24, 1847 Ag'd 2 Ms 10 Ds s.o H.M.& E.A.
