ANSON COUNTY, NC - CEMETERIES - Morven Cemetery, Morven, NC ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Copyright. All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Audrey Buckwell ==================================================================== Morven Cemetery, Morven, NC Location: At the intersection of US52 and NC145 in Morven, turn East onto NC145 (towards Rockingham, NC). Take the first left onto Cox Avenue then the first right onto Moore Street. Moore Street turns into Cemetery Street. Compiled by Edith Buckwell and Bud and Audrey Buckwell: November, 2001 Condition: Excellent, well marked. The oldest stones are in fair condition. General Information: The cemetery contains 7 sections, encircled and divided by vehicle-width paths. Each section is identified here by its relation to the "Morven Cemetery" stone found at the cemetery entrance. Each stone is listed within its section, starting at the cemetery entrance through the back of the section, right to left across each row as you face the back of the cemetery. All Names are presented last name first. Many of the stones in this cemetery contain more than one individual's information on it. When this occurs, the stone's information regarding Person 1 is presented, followed immediately by the stone's information regarding Person 2 (i.e. there is no seperating space between these individuals). Footstone information for each respective person is then presented, followed by the complier's remarks, as applicable. (Example: Deese, Bessie P., Deese, Watt T.)
