     VS.
GEORGE G. DRAPER, SAMUEL KNOX and JOHN A. LAIRD

Attachment

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that  GEORGE G. 
DRAPER, SAMUEL KNOX and JOHN A. LAIRD do not reside in this State. It is 
therefore ordered by the court that publication be made for six successive 
weeks in the North Carolina Argus, published at Wadesboro, notifying said 
defendants, non-residentS, to be and appear at our next Court of Pleas & 
Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Anson at the Court House in 
Wadesboro on the 2nd Monday in January next. Then and there to plead, answer 
or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise judgment will be taken pro confesso 
and the matter will be heard ex parte will be made as to them. Witness PATRICK 
J. COPPEDGE, Clerk of the said Court in Wadesboro on the 2nd Monday in 
October, A.D., 1860.
