ELIJAH H. CASON et al
       vs.
DAVID CRAWFORD

Petition to Divide Lands

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that DAVID CRAWFORD
does not reside in this State, it is therefore ordered by the Court that 
publication be made for six successive weeks in the North Carolina Argus, 
notifying said defendant, DAVID CRAWFORD, non-resident, to be and appear at 
our next Court to be held for the County of Anson at the Court House in 
Wadesboro on the 2nd Monday in October next. Then and there to plead, answer 
or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise judgment will be made pro confesso 
and the matter heard ex parte as to him. Witness, PATRICK J. COPPEDGE, at 
Office on the 2nd Monday in July, A.D. 1860.
