MATTHEW RAMSEY and wife, MARGARET, BENJAMIN F. HEADEN and wife, CHARLOTTE, et 
al

Petition for Sale of Real Estate

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that WILLIAM 
WADDILL, ADOLPHUS WADILL, EDMUND D. MARTIN, JAMES H. MARTIN, CALVIN SPENCER 
and wife, EMILY, reside beyond the limits of this State. It is therefore 
ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the 
North Carolina Argus, published at Wadesboro', N. C., notifying the said 
defendants, non-residents, to be and appear at our next Court of Equity to be 
held for the County of Anson at the Court House in Wadesboro on the second 
Monday in March next. Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this 
petition filed. Otherwise judgment will be entered up pro confesso and the 
matter heard ex parte as to them. Witness W.E. TROY, Clerk of said Court at 
Office on the second Mondayh in September A.D. 1859.
