     Know all men by these presents that I Thomas Flowers of
     Anson County and State of North Carolina for and in
     consideration of property with which I am invested from my
     father for that purpose agreeable to stipulation do consider
     myself under strict obligation to support Isham Flowers,who
     labours under a considerable degree of insanity with
     sufficient apparrel,diet,washing and lodging during life,for
     the certain performance of which I bind myself,my heirs,
     executors or administrators firmly by these presents. In
     witness whereof I have set my hand and affixed my seal this
     21st December one thousand eight hundred and three.

     Then the within obligation was duly proved in open court and
