      April Term A. D. 1851

  GEORGE S. HUBBARD
        vs.
  LUCY M. BIDWELL, ELISHA S. HUBBARD and wife, LUCRETIA, ENOCH TRYON and wife, 
LUDY, ESTHER B. ROCKWELL, LUCRETIA ROCKWELL and THANKFUL BIDWELL

  Petition for Settlement
   In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the court that the 
defendants LUCY M. BIDWELL, ELISHA S. HUBBARD and wife, LUCRETIA, ENOCH TRYON 
and wife, LUDY, ESTHER B. ROCKWELL, LUCRETIA ROCKWELL and THANKFUL BIDWELL
reside beyond the limits of this State: It is therefore ordered by the Court 
that publication for six successive weeks be made in the North 
Carolina "Argus" notifying said defendants to be and appear at the next term 
of this Worshipful Court to be held for the County of Anson at the Court House 
in Wadesborough on the 2nd Monday in July next, then and there to plead answer 
or demur on the petition filed. Otherwise judgment will be taken pro confesso 
and be made ex parte as to them. 
  Witness Norfleet D. BOGGAN, Clerk of said Court at office in Wadesborough 
this second Monday in April A. D. 1851 in the 75th year of American 
Independence.
