HUNTLEY & ELIJAH HUNTLEY, Executors of ROBERT HUNTLEY vs. PHILIP HUNTLEY et al Petition for Settlement In this case, it appearing by affidavit of WILLIAM H. HUNTLEY, made before me, at office in Wadesboro, on the 30th day of October 1858 that WILLIAM BARRETT and wife, ELLEN; JESSE BURCH and wife, MARY ANN, and ------ LOCK and wife, CAROLINE M.; do not reside in this State. It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the North Carolina Argus, a newspaper published at Wadesboro, notifying said non-resident to be and appear at the next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Anson at the Court House in Wadesboro on the 2nd Monday in January next. Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise judgment will be taken pro confesso and the matter heard ex parte as to them. Witness PATRICK J.
