LEWIS PARKER

Attachment Levied on Land

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the court that LEWIS PARKER 
is not a resident of this State. It is therefore ordered by the Court that 
publication be made for six successive weeks in the North Carolina Argus, 
notifying said non-resident, defendant, to be and appear at our next Court to 
be held for the County  of Anson in the Court House at Wadesboro on the second 
Monday in January (1860). Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this 
petition filed. Otherwise judgment will be taken pro confesso and the matter 
heard ex parte. Witness P. J. COPPEDGE, Clerk of the said Court at office in 
Wadesboro, on the second Monday in October, A.D., 1859.
