MARY LEWIS
   vs.
SAMUEL C. LEWIS, CHARLES LEWIS et al

Petition for Dower

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that WILLIAM 
PITTMAN and his wife, MARY F., and ROBERT LEWIS do not reside in this State.
It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six 
successive weeks in the North Carolina Argus, published in Wadesboro, to be 
and appear at our next Court to be held for the County of Anson at the Court 
House in Wadesboro on the 2nd Monday in January next. Then and there to plead, 
answer or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise, judgment will be taken pro 
confesso and the matter heard ex parte as to them. Witness, PATRICK J. 
COPPEDGE, Clerk of the said Court at Office on the 2nd Monday of October A.D. 
1860.
