JESSE J. LILES, Administrator of SUSAN McCLENDON
                vs.
JOSEPH BOGGAN, JAMES BOGGAN et al

Petition for Settlement

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that JOSEPH BOGGAN 
and JUDITH MASKE are not residents of this State. It is therefore ordered by 
the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the North 
Carolina Argus notifying said non-resident defendants to be and appear at our 
next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Anson at 
the Court House in Wadesboro, on the second Monday of July next. Then and 
there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise judgment 
will be taken pro confesso and the matter heard ex parte as to him. Witness, 
PATRICK J. COPPEDGE, Clerk of said Court at office on the second Monday in 
April, 1860.
