April Term, 1860

ELIZABETH MOORE
    vs.
WILLIAM MOORE, JOHN NASH and wife, JUDY, THOMAS GULLEDGE and wife MARTHA, ET AL

Petition for Dower

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that WILLIAM 
MOORE, JOHN NASH and JUDY, his wife; DUGALD ROSS and PENELOPE, his wife; 
COLLUM ROSS and NANCY, his wife; JOHN GREEN and EDMUND GREEN are not residents 
of this State. It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made 
for six successive weeks in the North Carolina Argus, published at Wadesboro, 
notifying said non-resident defendants, to be at appear at our next court to 
be held for the County of Anson at the Court House in Wadesboro, on the second 
Monday in July next. Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition 
filed. Otherwise, judgment will be taken pro confesso and the matter will be 
heard ex parte as to them. Witness, PATRICK J. COPPEDGE, Clerk of the said 
Court at office in Wadesboro on the second Monday in April A.D. 1860.
