STATE OF NO. CAROLINA
ANSON COUNTY
 
     Rec'd from BENJAMIN PRATT Three hundred Dollars in full consideration for 
three negros CHANA, CLEM & WILLIAM which said three negro slaves, I do hereby 
warrant and forever defend to the said BENJAMIN PRATT his heirs and assigns 
forever. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 25th day 
of July 1812.

Then the within bill of sale was duly acknowledged in open Court and ordered 
to be registered.
