Term, 1850 JONATHAN SANDERS vs. JAMES BUCHANON, MAY BUCHANON, MARY JANE BUCHANON and others PETITION FOR DIVISION OF NEGROES In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendants JAMES BUCHANON, MAY BUCHANON, and MARY JANE BUCHANON reside beyond the limits of this State: It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made in the North Carolina "Argus" notifying said defendants, non-residents, to be and appear at our next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Anson in the Court House at Wadesborough, on the 2nd Monday in January next. Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise: judgment will be taken pro confesso and judgment ex parte will be made to them. Witness NORFLEET D.
