BEVINS Vs. JACOB SHIPMAN Levy on Land. March the 12th 1839. Aaron Little, J.P. State of N. Carolina, Anson County. To any lawful officer of said County. You are hereby commanded to execute & sell so much of the goods & chattels of Jacob Shipman as will satisfy a judgment rendered against him on 12th day of March 1839 before Aaron Little, Justice of the Peace for said County in favor of N. Bivens for the sum of ten dollars as per statement annexed and for want of Goods & chattels that you levy on the land & tenements and return the sum to the County Court according to act of assembly. Witness my hand & seal This 6th day of April 1839 Wm Carrelton. Levied on one hundred acres of land adjoining C.
