STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA     COURT OF EQUITY                  ANSON COUNTY
Spring Term, 1861

JAMES T. WOOLEN and ANN ELIZA WOOLEN, by their next friend, LEVIN WOOLEN
                              vs.
DAVID WOOLEN

In this case it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that DAVID WOOLEN, 
defendant, is not a resident of this State. It is therefore ordered by the 
Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the North Carolina 
Argus, notifying the said non-resident to be and appear at the next Court of 
Equity to be held for the County of Anson at the Court House in Wadesboro on 
the 2nd Monday in September next. Then and there to plead , answer or demur to 
this petition filed. Otherwise judgment will be taken pro confesso and the 
matter heard ex parte as to them. Witness R. H. BATTLE, JR., Clerk of the said 
Court at Office on the 2nd Monday in March A. D. 1861.
