WITNESSETH that the said BURWELL BENTON for and in consideration of the sum of sixty-five dollars to him in hand paid by said ROBERT HONEY the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath given granted bargained sold conveyed and confirmed and by these presents doth freely and absolutely give grant bargain sell confer said ROBERT HONEY his heirs exrs admrs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in said county on west side of Lane's Creek beginning at a Spanish Oak by the road said BENTON'S beginning corner and running with his line North 69 West 30 chs & 46 links to a stake in the oak tree, pine pointers then S. 40 W. 39 chains to a stake by three said pines then North 80W. two chains & 50 links to a post road at BENTON'S corner then straight with line to the beginning containing by estimation 50 acres more or less. To have and to hold the above bounded land and premises unto the said ROBERT HONEY, his heirs, Exrs., admrs. and assigns together with all and singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in otherwise appertaining and I the said BURWELL BENTON for myself, my heirs, Exrs., Admrs., do by these presents covenant and agree to warrant and defend forever the above bargained premises clear and free of the lawful claims unto him the said ROBERT HONEY his heirs Exrs. admrs. or assigns. In Witness of all which covenant and agreements I the said BURWELL hereunto hath set my hand and seal the day and date first above written. Signed sealed and deliver in presence of WILLIAM H.
