	THIS INDENTURE Made this fifteenth Day of March in year of our Lord 
one thousand and Seven Hundred & Ninety Between David Jameson Esqr. Late 
Sheriff of Anson Co. of the State of North Carolina of the one part and Josiah 
Dabbs of the other part persuant to an act of the General assembly passed in 
Fayetteville on the third -----------
Witnesseth that the above David Jameson Sheriff for the County of Anson
aforesd.
the Third Day of November one thousand Seven hundred & Eighty Eight
authorising Empowering & Commanding the Sheriff of the Defferent Counties 
within this State to Execute & Sell as Much of the Lands Lying in their 
Respective Counties that the Owners Lives Out of this State and failes to give 
in his Land or Some person for him - there being a Tract of Land belonging to 
a Certain William Scott Containing Three Hundred Acres lying & being in the 
County of Anson on Pinch Gutt the Said Scott haveing Removed to Georgia 
Several years past and failing to give in his ------- or any person for him 
which Tract of Land the aforesaid David Jameson Sheriff Did Enter Seize 
Execute Advertise and Expose to Sale on the Nineteenth Day of Ju--
One thousand Seven hundred & Eighty Nine at the Court house in the County
aforesaid.  Three hundred acres of Land for Two hundred Acres which was 
fifteen Shillings ----- pence in Money & Nine Shillings tickett which Two 
hundred Acres herein after ------- to be bargained & Sold to him the aforesd. 
Josiah Dabbs with all the improvements thereon which were the property of the 
aforesaid William Scott Situate Lying & ---- in the County aforesaid Begining 
at a pine and runs So. 88 East 146 poles to a pine then So. 2 Wt. 219 poles to 
a Stake then No. 88 East 146 poles to a post oak then No. 2 East 219 poles to 
the Begining Includeing Two hundred acres togather with --- improvements 
hereditaments appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the Said Josiah
Dabbs his heirs & assigns forever in as full free and ample a manner to all
intents and purposes as the Said David Jameson is Capable of Makeing by virtue 
of his ----- Office or in persuance of the aforesaid act of assembly of this 
State in which Act all the proceedings therein beforementioned and recited and 
well and Suffi--- warranted by Law Witnesseth whereof the Said David Jameson 
Esqr. hath hereunto ---- his hand and Seal the Day first above Written
