1754, 23 Feb. Margaret Dickey acquired 600 acres in Anson Co. on the S. [i.e., 
west.  Land records recorded in old records as being on the south side of the 
Catawba are on the west side and land records recorded as being on the north 
side are in the Ft. Mill township.] Side of the Cataba river above George 
Cathey, joining George Davison.  (Hofmann, Margaret M., Colony of North
