THOMAS LACY for and in consideration of the sum of nine hundred Dollars to him in hand paid by the sd JOHN PARKER before the signing and Delivery of these presents the Recpt. whereof he doth acknowledge hath given granted Bargained and sold and by these presents doth absolutely give grant bargain and sell convey and confirm unto the Sd JOHN PARKER and to his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land situate in the County aforesd. on a branch of Brown Creek called Pinch Gut Beginning at a hickory on the Eastern side of Sd. Branch in the fork of a small branch about two miles above the mouth of Sd Pinch Gut and runs thence So. 20 Wt. 44 chains & 73 links then direct to the Beginning containing two hundred acres granted to THOMAS LACY Senr. Dec'd. May ___ 1772. To Have and To Hold to him the Sd. JOHN PARKER his heirs Exrs. Admrs. and assigns with all and singular the rights titles hereditaments & appurtenance thereunto Belonging or in anywise appertaining Together with all houses orchards gardens ways woods waters mines mineral &c and the Sd. THOMAS LACY for himself his heirs Exrs. and Admrs. doth hereby covenant and agree to and with the Sd. JOHN PARKER his heirs and assigns that the Sd. THOMAS LACY shall and will warrant secure and forever defend the aforesd. two hundred acres of land and premises free and clear of and from all manner of Incumbrances whatsoever unto him the Sd. JOHN PARKER his heirs Exrs. Admrs. and assigns forever In Witness whereof the Sd. THOMAS LACY hath hereto set his hand and & seal the date above written.
