Greeting You are herby required as Soon as May Be to Lay off & Survey for William Nash a tract or parcel of Land containing fifty acres Lying in the County afforsaid lying on Lanes Creek above Capt Lacys(?) Joining his uper Line & Chevers [Chavis?] line including his improvement. Observing the Directions of the Act of Assembly in Such Case Maid & Provided for runing out Lands two Just & fair Plans of Such having annexed to Each you are to transmit With this Warrant to the [Secretary's?] office Without Delay given Under My Hand at My office the 5 Day of Agust Anno Dom 1778[?] J Love _ _ GRANT SURVEYED [At the top is a drawing somewhat in the shape of a shield with a flat top rounding to a point at the bottom. SN--There are several loops in Lanes Creek that could be the one shown in the survey.] Laid down per scale[?] of 20 Chains in An Inch[?] This Plott Refers unto fifty Acres Land in Anson County Lying in a bent of Lanes Creek on the North side of Sd. Creek Beginning at Black Walnut Tree standing On the Bank of said Creek and Turning(?) North forty five Degrees East seventeen Chains and fifty Links to white oak standing On the Bank of said Creek thence[?] Up[?] the Various Courses of said Creek to the Beginning. Surveyed for Wm.
