The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net ***************************************************************************** The following is a transcription from Anson Co, NC, Deed Book U, pp 198-199, 2/5/1819: 198-199 William Nash To Moses Pearce This indenture made the 5th day of Feby. in the year of our Lord 1819 Between William Nash of the State of No. Carolina Anson County of the one part and Moses Pearce of the State and County aforesd of the other part Witnessth that the sd William Nash for & in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars to him in hand paid by the said Moses Pearce the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath given granted Bargained sold conveyed and confirmed and by these presents doth fully freely and voluntarily give grant Bargain sell convey and confirm unto him the sd Moses Pearce his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract piece or parcel of land lying on the North side of the Beaver dam Creek Beginning at his Beginning corner and runs South to the creek then up the said creek to his other line then to the beginning containing three acres more or less and the said William Nash In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and date above written.
