Nash to Pebles Hasty, both of Anson Co, NC, Deed Book U, p 75: Wm. Nash to Pebles Hasty THIS INDENTURE made this 1st day of Feby. 1819 between Wm. Nash of the State of N. Carolina & County of Anson of the one part & Pebles Hasty of the same State & County of the other part WITNESSETH that the Sd. Wm. Nash for & in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the Sd. Pebles Hasty the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath given granted bargained and sold conveyed & confirmed & by these presents doth fully freely absolutely give grant bargain convey & confirm unto the Sd. Pebles Hasty his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred acres of land lying & being in County of Anson on the Beaver Dam Creek. Beginning at a stake by 3 post oaks in Howells line & runs So. 90 poles with Browns line to his corner then with his other line Et. 100 poles to a stake by 2 red oaks the So. 100 poles to a stake by 2 red oaks then So. 100 poles to a pine by 2 pines then Wt. 100 poles to Mullins corner then with his line No. 65 Wt. 74 poles then to Pebles corner then with his line No. 25 Et. 120 poles to his other corner then to the beginning together with all woods waters mines minerals hereditaments & appurtenances thereto belonging to the Sd. Pebles Hasty his heirs Exrs. or assigns free & clear further I do hereby warrant & defend the Sd. land forever unto the Sd. ___ [blank] free & clear from all the the lawful claims of any persons forever.
