STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA

     No. 2342. Know ye, that we have granted unto JOHN ELLIOTT, Senr. one 
hundred and fifty acres of land in Anson County. Beginning at SHEPHERDS corner 
Black Oak and runs with his line South seventy five west ninety two poles to 
his other corner by three pines, Then with his other line South ninety four 
poles to a stake by a red oak, white oak and Pine his own corner, then with 
his line North thirty three West one hundred and seventy six poles to a stake 
by a white oak, pine and red oak, then North forty three East one hundred and 
forty poles, then to the Beginning.

Entered 8th March 1813. To hold to the said JOHN ELLIOTT, Senr. his heirs & 
assigns forever. Dated 8th December 1815.
