Laid down at scale of 15 chains to an inch. This plot represents 100 acres of land in Anson County on the north or main prong of Cartledge’s Creek, northeast of Pedee River, beginning at a black oak by the foot of the hills on the lower side of the said prong, about ¼ mile below Shurley’s Survey and running thence North 75 east __ chains and 63 links, then south _5 west 31 chains and 63 links, then north 75 west 31 chains and 63 links, then direct to the beginning.
