Recorded: May 24, 1773

Issued May 24, 1773, Book No. 22, page no. 276, 263 acres:
	Plot map included. Laid down at a scale of 20 chains to an inch. “This 
plot represents 263 acres of land in Anson County on Jenny’s Branch, lower side 
of Hitchcock’s Creek, beginning at a blackjack by Robert Thomas’s line about 
100 yards from the upper side of said branch, and running thence north 80 east 
29 chains to a stake by a pine in or near John ?Hickson’s Mar___ line then 
south 10 east 69 chains and 90 links to a small white oak, thence south 20 west 
40 chains to a stake among 3 pines, then north 10 west 54 chains and 90 links, 
then north 80 east 11 chains, then direct to the beginning. Surveyed for 
PHILEMON THOMAS the 21st of March 1772. Robert Edwards, surveyor.
