WITNESSETH that the sd. THOMAS ROGERS for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred & Fifty dollars to him in hand paid by the sd. JASON ROGERS the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and confirmed unto the sd. JASON ROGERS his heirs and assigns all that tract of land lying and situate in the County of Anson (to wit) Beginning at a post oak by 2 post oaks CALVIN ROGERS corner & runs S. 50 E. 17 chs. & 50 links to an ask by 2 post oaks then S. 64 E. 25 chs. & 50 links to a state by a post oak then S. 50 Wt. 20 chs. & 50 links to a red oak then So. 70 W. 61 chs. to a stake by a post oak red oak & pine then N. 32 chs. & 40 links to a post oak red oak & pine in CALVIN ROGERS line then with it Et. 22 chs & 50 links to his corner then with his other line N. 52 chs. & 30 links to the beginning containing One Hundred & Ninety One acres be the same more or less with all ways water courses profits and commodities advantages hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever to the sd. premises above mentioned belonging or in any wise appertaining & every part thereof to have and to hold unto the sd JASON ROGERS his heirs & assigns to their proper use and behoof of the sd. JASON ROGERS his heirs & assigns he the sd. THOMAS ROGERS his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the sd. land and premises against the claim or claims of any person or persons whatsoever.
