                       NOTICE
   My wife, EMELINE HORN, left me on the 19th of November, 1859, without cause 
or provocation, taking with her three Negroes, RUTH, ANN and GEORGE, 11, 13, 
and 12. Also my money, notes and accounts, said notes being in my favor, and 
given by THOMAS GADDY, TERRY GADDY, CALVIN LILLY, BROOKS HARLEY, JOHN MEADOWS, 
JAMES C. CARRAWAY, JAMES BOGGAN, JAMES THOMAS and others. All persons are 
forewarned trading for said Negroes or notes, or getting said accounts with my 
wife, and I forewarn all persons harboring or keeping my wife from me.
