Arm Amputated

Rev. T.W. Kendall of Anson County came to St. Peter's Hospital in this city 
suffering with a diseased hand. The doctors decided, after a study of his 
case, that amputation of the arm was necessary and yesterday the arm was cut 
off. Mr. Kendall, who is 74, stood the operation well.
