                SUPPLIES FOR THE SOLDIERS
   -- We had the pleasure of seeing, a day or two since, MAJOR JAMES BOGGAN 
and BENJAMIN K. POND, ESQ. of Anson, on their way to Virginia, with six 
thousand pounds of clothing for the soldiers from that county. Anson has done 
nobly.
