Rebecca Niven Allen, 88, of Morven, N.C., died Wednesday, April 10, 2002 in 
Anson Community Hospital. 

A graveside funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 12 in Anson 
Memorial Park with the Rev. Charles Cauthen and the Rev. George Senter 
officiating. 

Born in Anson County, N.C., Mrs. Allen was a daughter of the late Walter D. 
and Emma Jones Niven. She was retired from American Bank & Trust, formerly the 
Bank of Wadesboro. 

Surviving are a sister, Margaret N. Gourlay of Lillington, N.C.; and special 
friends, Mike and Patricia Gaskins, and Josie Webster, all of Chesterfield. 

Leavitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
