Imogene Preslar Caudle, 75, of Polkton, N.C., died Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at 
her residence. 

A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 27 from Rocky Mount 
Baptist Church with the Rev. Ben Whitmire officiating. Burial followed in the 
church cemetery. 

Born in Anson County, N.C., Mrs. Caudle was a daughter of the late George and 
Mary Howard Preslar, and was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church. She was a 
retired owner and operator of Gene's Beauty Shop. 

Surviving are a daughter, Robbie Caudle Hampton of Wingate, N.C.; a 
granddaughter, Michelle Hampton of Charlotte, N.C.; a longtime friend, C.P. 
Williams of Chesterfield; a brother, George "Bob" Preslar of Norwood, N.C.; 
and a sister, Reba Thomas of Locust, N.C. 

She was preceded in death by a brother, Lowell Preslar.

Arrangements were entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.
