Died:
The REV. FRANCIS COOK was born in Kershaw district, S.C. on Feb. 17th, 1798. 
His father, WILLIAM COOK, was a native, but afterward removed to Anson County, 
N.C. and from thencfe to Kershaw district. FRANCIS was only a boy of ten when 
in the house of my grand-father, the REV. ISAAC SMITH, in Camden. He died on 
May 10th, 1872. He left a family of seven children. G.G. Smith
