G.M. Gaddy Succumbs after Long Illness

Wadesboro, Aug. 25 - G.M. Gaddy, a splendid citizen of Gulledge township 
passed away at his home last Sunday and was buried Monday at New Hope 
Methodist church, the funeral service being conducted by the Rev. E.R. Welch, 
of Wadesboro. 

Mr. Gaddy was 64 years of age and was a son of the late Holden Gaddy. 

He was twice married and is survived by his wife and a number of children: 
Mrs. Rossie Belle Sturdivant, Mrs. H.C. Hasty, of Charlotte; Mrs. E.R. 
Gilmore, Mrs. Lucy May Gardner, Messrs. L.G. Gaddy, of Charlotte; L.D. Gaddy, 
of Darlington, S.C.; J.E. Gaddy, of Hemlet; Sidney Gaddy.
