Death of Mr. G.W. Maness

Mr. G.W. Maness of Anson County died at the Private Hospital yesterday morning 
at 8 o'clock of consumption. Mr. Maness, a prominent farmer, was 42 years old. 
He is survived by four children: one boy and three girls. Mr. Maness was 
brought to Charlotte about four weeks ago for treatment and steadily sank 
until his death.

The remains were taken to Lilesville last evening where the funeral and 
interment will take place today.
