   SINGULAR DEATH -- On Tuesday evening last, JOHN SIBLEY, the son of ELIJAH 
SIBLEY, living near Cedar Hills, met with a sudden and violent breach from a 
most unexpected and singular cause. He was in the act of passing through the 
gate having a kniefe in his hand, peeling some fruit. Whilst thus engaged, the 
gate in closing struck his arm, and drove the knife into his heart causing a 
wound which proved fatal in a few hours. He died on the following morning. He 
was 16 years of age.
