The contracting parties were Miss Julia Flake and Mr. Charles M. Burns. Miss Flake is one of Anson's fairest and most accomplished daughters. Mr. Burns is a clever, handsome and refined gentleman and he possesses the respect and good wishes of every citizen of this place. Rev. J.Q. Adams tied the knot. The happy bride and groom came here immediately after the ceremony to take the north bound train for the metropolis and other Northern cities.
