Additional information contributed by Sandra Rasberry: I have her as Mary Lindsey Battle, m. 1891. By 1904 he married Lucy Plummer Battle, and in 1910 he married Mary Knox Gatlin. There is a Collier Cobb II and Collier Cobb III among the decendents of Collier Cobb. He traveled a lot as a photographer and geologist and was a professor at Chapel Hill. He and several wives are buried there on the campus. Collier photographed portraits of some ancestors, Joseph Green, Jack Cobb and an unidentified one that I’m wondering might be Probert Collier. The same portrait appears to be on the wall in a picture of the old "Dialectic Society" building at Chapel Hill. He is a great grand of my Probert Collier, son of Needham Bryan Cobb and Martha Louisa. Needham Bryan Cobb was the son of William Donnell and Ann Spicer Collier Cobb.
